State Street, Sydney



Following the successful office relocation projects for our client State Street Bank in London (UK) and Dublin (Ireland), we was engaged by the Bank’s IT department to provide IT Project Management and Structured Cabling Consulting for the 10,000 m² new build tenancy in Sydney’s CBD.

The project involved the development of a design to upgrade the proposed building to meet the banking requirements for resiliency and security and working within an aggressive timeframe to ensure that all IT infrastructure services, including the trading floor, were delivered to meet the Bank’s global standards prior to lease expiry of the two premises being exited.

The project was divided into two phases.

The first phase involved working with Lend Lease and the professional team on the base build and fit out in time for the relocation of two client-facing business units.

The second phase covered the back office business units which were migrated and involved the PTS team leading regular stakeholder meetings with 18 department heads.

In total we managed the relocation of 850 staff, with no disruption to business operations, and provided the State Street with Managed Service support during the installation phase.

The project was judged to be a resounding success meeting State Street Bank’s high expectations of ‘zero defects’ and ‘flawless execution’.
